Left unattended, human nature and our natural behavioral tendencies derail even the best intentions for teamwork and execution. Dysfunction has become accepted as a cost of doing business. Good people fail to live up to their potential, or worse, leave. Mediocrity is tolerated. The energy that people bring to work is dampened by a culture that lacks clarity and cohesion.

Leaders at all levels struggle to build strong teams. Human nature is tough to beat. It’s not enough to just hire the right people. You also have to keep them energized, focused and working together as a team.

A few telltale signs that your organization might be as vibrant as you would like:

I work with leaders to create clarity and alignment on their leadership teams and vibrancy in their organizations. I help them draw a cohesive leadership team together that, in turn, creates the dynamics and the culture that drive results. Aligned leaders are able to focus their time and energy on what is important. Along the way they find that life has more balance and work is more satisfying!

Success is not hard. It just takes persistence and a deliberate focus on the right things. The Team Tune-Up runs for three months and consists of a dynamic mix of group work with the team as well as individual coaching for key members. Observing your team in action, I watch and listen with forensic intensity. I coach and inspire leaders to action. The results are two-fold: a leadership team that works, and an organization that performs.
